| Winch event A winch event is a where you try to get to a marker. Our events average from 50 - 75 markers, these markers are placed in sometimes demanding places where the object is to punch a card which is fastened to the dashboard. Some of the markers can be placed in bogs, on trees, down steep banks or just in the middle of a wooded area, all types of methods are used to get to these i.e. winching off trees, ground anchors, e.t.c. Quite often teams of two vehicles winch off each other. We also do a time trail where there is 12 gates numbered from 12 down to 1 and the aim is to get through these gates without touching them in the fastest possible time. Without breaking your vehicle. And remembering to stop at the end. To enter these events you must have a roll cage or at least a hoop. A brightly coloured sail, A wide strop for around trees, seat belts. Also yellow jackets for the christmas event. |

How many we run!! We try to run 3 events a year they are usually within 3 months of each other. These 3 events are the championship this means at the end of these you will win a troffy if you come 1st 2nd or 3rd in your class. We have found a new site in Bwlchgwyn near Wrexham so we may pop another event in within in those 3 months, but we will let you know!. If you would like infomation on when the event is then please type your name and address to the email below, And come and see what it is like for yourself. Where are they run?? These events are run in Cwmderw near Newtown, this is a 1000 acre site of bogs, gullys, trees, and steep banks e.t.c. Our new site is in Bwlchgwyn near Wrexham this is a forest, which im guessing there is a few trees. There a few bogs and steep banks.
